Garbarakshambigai Temple is one of the most famous temples in Tamil Nadu, especially known for blessings related to childbirth, fertility, and safe pregnancy.

 The temple is located in Thirukarukavur village, near Papanasam in Thanjavur district.

 It is dedicated to Goddess Garbarakshambigai, a form of Goddess Parvati, and Lord Mullaivananathar, a form of Lord Shiva.

The best route is via Kumbakonam-Thanjavur road, turning towards Papanasam to reach Thirukarukavur.
